The Corning Joint Fire District proudly hosts a 3 day immersive firefighter camp that is free for students ages 14 to 18. Students participate in rigorous, immersive Fire Fighter and EMS skill training activities. Through a combination of hands-on activities and demonstrations, campers can experience first-hand the satisfaction of community service through fire-fighting.

Basic Fire Rescue
- Vehicle extrication and vehicle fires
- Fireground and Hoseline operations
- Ground and aerial ladders
- Water rescue operations
Emergency Medical
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Automated external defibrillator (AED)
- First Aid
- Stop the Bleed
Earn College Credit
Students enrolled in Corning Community College’s Advanced College Education program can also earn a college credit for completing the camp.
